Chicago: Data Science
Pulling raw data and modeling it for insights through various tools has been something I have focused on since my master’s program. Data science is about outcomes and presenting those outcomes in a digestible format. The best way for us to start modeling data is with a hypothesis-based approach to the data. Searching for specific questions you have about your business or website takes a lot less time and has a higher likelihood of coming up with outcomes.
Data Mining: We look at your entire data set for multiple relationships among variables to find valuable insights. With this approach, we are not always sure of what we will find and can be an iterative process.
